Bell ringing starts Nov 18 th
Volunteers needed 6 days a week (not on Sundays)
The goal is to be able to cover 8 hours a day at every location. That’s over 3,000 hours and with 2-hour shifts that’s over 1700 shifts need to be filled.
You can cover a single shift, 2 or 3 shifts in a row and/or cover multiple shifts
throughout the season. Every hour someone can ring makes a difference!
Holiday bell ringing is the Salvation Army’s main fundraiser and they count on what is raised not just for Christmas but throughout the year. This year’s goal is $70,000.
They help between 1500 and 2000 families a year with things like food boxes,
clothing vouchers, bus tickets, & gas vouchers.
Salvation Army services all of Washington County and all funds that come in stay in Washington County.
