CANYON MEDIA BROADCASTING CONTEST AND PROMOTION RULES

General Terms

No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning.

Void Where Prohibited: Contests and promotions are void where prohibited by law. Participants are responsible for ensuring their eligibility under local regulations.

Changes to Terms: The Station may modify the Promotion’s dates, rules, or terms at any time without prior notice. Any material changes will be announced on-air and, if applicable, posted on the Station’s website.

Management Decisions: All decisions made by Station management regarding the Promotion are final and binding.

Participation and Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older, residing in Southern Utah or surrounding areas.
• Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and their immediate family members of the Station, its parent company, affiliates, and promotional partners are not eligible.
• The Station reserves the right to verify eligibility and may request additional documentation.
• Household Limits: Only one winner per household (defined as individuals residing at the same physical address) is permitted in any Station-conducted Promotion.
• Prize Frequency Limits:
  • Prize eligibility restrictions apply across all stations listed in these rules.
  • Prizes valued at $50-$499 or more or event tickets valued at $100 or more: Eligible to win once every 30 days.
  •  Prizes valued at $500-$599: Eligible to win once every 90 Days (3 Months).
  • Prizes valued over $600: Eligible to win once every 180 Days (6 months).
• Taxes & Legal Responsibilities: Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more are responsible for all applicable taxes and will be issued a Form 1099-MISC for tax reporting.

Honesty Requirement: Entrants must provide truthful and accurate information. Providing false or misleading information will result in disqualification.

Underage Entries: Entries from individuals under 13 years of age will be deleted in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Unless otherwise stated in the specific contest rules, these general eligibility requirements apply.

Entry Methods

Participants may enter through one or more of the following methods, as specified in each contest’s official rules:

• On-Air Promotions: Promotions requiring ‘cues to call’ are only official when heard on-air via radio. Listeners streaming online may experience delays and may be at a disadvantage.
• On-Site Entry Forms: Participants may enter by filling out entry forms at designated locations.
• Social Media Promotions: Entry via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media platforms must comply with the platform’s terms and conditions.
• Online Entry Forms: Participants may enter via official entry forms on the Station’s website.
• Call-In and Text Entries: Listeners may enter by calling or texting when prompted during on-air contests. Standard messaging rates may apply.

Entry limits still apply regardless of method unless otherwise specified.

Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media platform. By participating, entrants release these platforms from any responsibility or liability related to the promotion.

Prizes and Prize Claims

Prize Announcement: The Station will announce prizes and their values during the Promotion.

Claiming Prizes:

• Prizes must be picked up in-office at: Canyon Media Corporation, 3143 S 840 E STE 100, St. George, UT 84790. Delivery options are not available unless explicitly stated in the specific contest’s official rules.
• Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (closed on major holidays).
• Proof of Identity Required: Winners must present a valid government-issued photo ID and provide their full name, date of birth, and contact information.
• Third-Party Prize Pickup: Prizes must be claimed in person unless the Station grants written authorization. Third-party prize pickup requires a signed and notarized authorization letter from the winner and a copy of their valid ID.
• Underage Winners: If a winner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must claim the prize.

Forfeiture of Prizes: Prizes not claimed within 30 days (or a shorter time for time-sensitive prizes) will be forfeited.

Delivery Options: Unless otherwise specified in the contest’s customized rules, prizes must be picked up in person. If explicitly stated in the contest’s official rules, the Station may allow delivery by mail, courier, or electronic means (e.g., email for digital prizes). The Station is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged prizes once they have been sent. Winners accept delivery at their own risk.

Unless otherwise stated in the specific contest rules, these prize claim rules apply.

Publicity Consent

By entering, winners agree to allow their name, voice, likeness, and video to be used in advertising, promotional materials, and on social media platforms without additional compensation. This includes but is not limited to radio broadcasts, digital promotions, video content, and social media posts. Participants who do not wish to grant these rights should refrain from entering. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

Technical and Other Issues

The Station reserves the right to modify, cancel, or terminate the Promotion due to technical failures, tampering, or external factors beyond its control.

If a Promotion-related event is delayed or canceled, the Station is not obligated to provide a substitute prize.

If a Promotion is canceled due to technical failures, the Station may, at its discretion, reschedule the event or provide a substitute prize of equal or lesser value.

The Station is not liable for failure or delay in the Promotion due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, acts of God, cyberattacks, power outages, server failures, or website malfunctions.

Unless otherwise stated in the specific contest rules, these technical issue rules apply.

Disqualification and Misconduct

Tampering & Cheating:

• Any attempt to tamper with the entry process or Station systems will result in disqualification.
• If an entrant cheats, engages in fraud, or violates the rules, they may be banned from future contests.

Management Discretion Clause:

• The Station reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its reasonable discretion for violating contest integrity, engaging in misconduct, or other legitimate reasons. The Station’s decisions will be made in good faith and are final.
• This decision will be made fairly and without discrimination, including but is not limited to harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward Station employees, other contestants, sponsors, and/or any other individuals associated with the Promotion.

Acceptance of Terms

By entering the Promotion or accessing these rules on the Station’s website, entrants agree to comply with the Station’s Terms of Use Agreement.
